Racism and Sexism in Cartoons About Dr. Condi Rice?
The depiction of Dr. Condoleeza Rice by Jeff Danziger, Pat Oliphant and Garry Trudeau as an ebonics speaking, big-lipped, black mammy who just loves her 'massa' is a disturbing trend in editorial cartoons," said Michelle D. Bernard, senior vice president of the Independent Women's Forum. "These cartoons take the racism of the liberals who profess respect and adoration for black Americans to a new level. It is revolting."

Not to mention that some papers which will remain nameless are using "Ms." instead of "Dr."

Comments:
I noticed this on one of the politcal cartoons I saw; not sure who it was by. But i did think that the way they drew both Rice and Powell could be considered insulting. The one by Cagle I thought was fine. Obviously cartoonists exaggerate features, but they must be careful with stereotypes.
