Moderates on Display?
Shwarzenegger compared Hubert Humphrey to socialists. The moderates at the Republican convention are giving a very conservative message. I don't think Republicans are afraid of saying who we are. Despite what you hear on MSNBC, we don't want to kill poor people. In fact, we feel we have solutions which will help people.
The media saw that a lot of moderates were talking, ignored what they were saying, and told us that the Republicans were trying to display a soft image. Instead of saying we want to kill little old ladies on Social Security. I don't think the public is buying this any more.
