the Democrat Party, the Party of the Rich
An exteremly interesting article in today's Wall Street Journal. The rich heavily favor Democrats, as well as the poor. The middle class are the ones who support the Republicans.
What are the reasons for this? I have conjectures, but I think other factors which coincide with being rich may be in play here. Being less religious for example.
What I am willing to say is that this proves that Republicans, on the whole, support flat taxes for reasons other than currying favor with the rich. We believe it is the right thing to do, both economically and morally.
